Support Maggie's Mental Health Recovery

Hey, everyone! This is Maggie's sister, Rachel. Maggie is currently living in Pittsburg, where she just completed her very first (and successful) year of grad school! She just moved into a new apartment last week and is looking forward to job searching this summer. Maggie is open about her mental health struggles so I know she won't mind that I tell you that she has bipolar disorder. This weekend, Maggie entered into a very serious manic/psychotic state and everything she has been working towards came to an abrupt halt. Coming down from mania, especially as escalated as this can be, is hard on a person's mind and body. Healing is not an overnight process and sometimes the hospital stay alone can take up to a month. There is no way to know how long this healing process will be for my sister and because of that, I would like to try to ease the financial burden she will now have with a delay in job searching and a new rented apartment to pay for.
Mental health has such a stigma associated with it and Maggie is living proof that a person with a mental health condition can live a normal and successful life. In my opinion, folks who go through such things as this and come out on top are super heroes with super human strength.
If you feel so moved, throw a $20 her way. She deserves our support.
Love you, Mags. ❤️
