Support Mahendrakumar Patel's Funeral Expenses

To my dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

It is with great sadness to announce that after years-long of illness, Mahendrakumar Patel passed away in his sleep on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 5:51 p.m. At his home village back in India, Mahendra was a well-known and powerful figure, dedicating his time and resources to the establishment of a children's school. He first arrived to the United States in 2005, traveling back and forth from India before permanently residing with his family for the last time in 2021. Mahendra persevered in his battle spirit in spite of multiple health challenges. He fought bravely against dementia, a lung puncture, and esophagus cancer. Whenever he saw his grandchildren, his face would light up with recognition and happiness.

Through it all, his son, Jignesh Patel, refused to let his family give up hope. He would get up every day, look for any doctor he could find, and assist his father in any way he could. Jignesh has been taking time off of work for the past three months to assist his father in living as comfortably as possible for the remainder of his life.

We know that many people are going through difficult financial times of their own, so any amount you can donate toward Mahendra’s funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated. Along with that, sharing this campaign would mean so much. We sincerely thank you for all your help during this time.
