Support Makai and Mom: Fire Relief

Dear Family, Friends and Kind Supporters,

On January 8, 2025, a devastating firestorm brought havoc upon my community of Altadena and has destroyed the place I call home. As a result of this horrific and historic weather event, my own home has been significantly affected. This house was bought by my grandparents over 55 years and is my mother’s childhood home. We are unsure of the level of damage, and my mother and I are currently displaced, and trying to determine our next steps.

We are doing our best to stay hopeful, but this situation has been very heavy and overwhelming for us both.
