While I never thought it would come to this, I’m grateful for the support of my friends & community.

I've battled health issues my entire life, most minor ones that didn’t impact my day to day functions. After an extreme infection of mono as a teen, my immune system seemed to stop fighting. My life became respiratory infections that would leave me with scarred lungs, kidney infections that harmed my organs, and extreme never-ending fatigue when my body stopped producing vitamin D. I missed 72 days my final semester of school due to doctors appointments and illness.

My Multiple Sclerosis symptoms now at 23 have became unmanageable and unpredictable. Some days I am able to do everything I want to do, other days I can’t tie my own shoes and spend the entire day crying. My nerve pain impacts my entire being, most recently depression, hand/foot motor functions, and memory issues have been troubling.

I’ve spent my career organizing around healthcare, but the thought of organizing my own healthcare and wellbeing has been overwhelming enough for me to procrastinate for years. This is my effort to be a whole person again.

Your donations will go towards a Neurologist & Gastroenterologist in the Central TX area. Without insurance, I simply cannot afford these things on my own.
