Support Mame's Fight Against Aggressive Cancer
Donation protected
Mame was initially diagnosed with pneumonia. After looking further at her lungs they found a large mass in her right lung and she was diagnosed with extensive (inoperable) small cell lung cancer. This cancer is aggressive, so she started chemo as soon as she was strong enough while in the hospital. She will need to travel to Ashland for several rounds of treatment and Duluth for follow-up appointments. She is also having complications from the cancer, such as swelling in her foot and fluid around her lungs. The swelling is causing out-of-pocket expense for special compression socks. The pleural effusion (fluid) requires additional trips to have this drained. There are other smaller items that she will need based on chemotherapy side effects. Since she is on a fixed income, any financial support will help with the expenses involved. Whether you donate or not, prayers and positive thoughts are always welcome and appreciated.
