Support Mandy Jo Acosta's Family in Their Loss

One month and a few days ago, my stepmother, Mandy Jo Acosta, went in for an outpatient procedure to remove her gallbladder because she was having indigestion and back pain. This procedure turned into several trips to the ICU and a rare cancer that could not be beat.
Mandy was so young, and it is hard to believe it is her time, but unfortunately, God is stingy with his angels. Her work here is done, even if we don’t agree. She has been a light in all of our lives, the backbone of our family, an amazing mother, and the love of my father‘s life. She lived for spending time with her grandchildren and being a grandmother. I’m just so sad that they didn’t get the chance to spend more time with her and get to know her better as they are all so young.
If we could go back, we would tell her so many more times that we appreciated her and love her more than she could ever know. She gave everything she had to the people she loved and never asked for anything in return.
The next steps in this process are not something we are truly ready to think about, but we have to try and move forward. Any help would be greatly appreciated by my father and our entire family. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we try to navigate this unbelievable tragedy.
