Support Mandy Wood’s Battle With Cancer

Mandy Wood is a dedicated wife, mother to 8-year-old twins, and a beloved member of the community. She’s worked at Truro radio stations since 2001, spending 16 years as the co-host of Pure Country Mornings (formerly Cat Country Morning Show), bringing joy and connection to listeners every day.

In December, Mandy was diagnosed with vulvar cancer, and after further testing, it has been confirmed that it’s Stage 3 due to spread to nearby lymph nodes. She is now waiting for PET scan results to rule out Stage 4. In the coming weeks, Mandy will undergo five weeks of daily high-dose radiation, followed by a challenging recovery period that could take up to two months. The treatments are intense and will require extensive wound care multiple times a day.
