Support Mandy's Family in Tornado Recovery
Donation protected
When Mandy bought her shelter just a few months back, she didn't think it would be coming in handy this soon. Already getting hit bad twice this year with damages just going to a vehicle, trees, and power. Her, her son Kade, mom, dad and the dog Tank saw where Posey County's tornado on 7/9/24 was another straight line just in their direction. Hearing all the commotion and thankful her and her loved ones were safe, still never prepared her to see what she made a home completely thrown across the yard and field in shambles.
Close friends trying to dig through insulation and shredded foundation to salvage anything we can but she's still starting from scratch. Even stressed and in disbelief, she is one of the most positive outlook people I know. Always helping others and reaching out to where it matters, for years in a row she's donated her time and helped Salvation Army and other charities, always the one to show up if you are in that "flat tire" circumstance.
If we can help her get on her feet to get her through her "flat tire", any help would be deeply appreciated as she's starting over with everything from going to the laundromat with soaked clothes before they mildew to figuring out these next steps in a house and the what nows in between.
