Support My Brother, Manny, Through Cancer

Hi! My name is Ana, and I am raising funds para mi hermanito (for my brother), Manny, and his family. Things have been a bit of a whirlwind since December. But long story short, Manny was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer and has a yolk sac tumor. This kind of tumor is very rare and aggressive.

¡Hola! Me llamo Ana, y estoy recaudando fondos para mi hermanito, Manny, y su familia. Las cosas han sido un poco un torbellino desde Diciembre. Pero en pocas palabras, recientemente ah Manny le diagnosticaron cáncer testicular y un tumor de saco de la yema. Este tipo de tumor es muy raro y agresivo.

Manny has been admitted to a hospital in Las Vegas for the past week. We are anxiously waiting for him to be transferred to the Stanford Hospital in California to have surgery to remove the testicular cancer and for him to get more specialized care for the cancer and tumor. A chemo port has been placed in his chest and after surgery they will start chemo to remove the tumor.

Manny ha sido ingresado en un hospital de Las Vegas durante la última semana. Estamos esperando ansiosamente que lo transfieran al Hospital Stanford en California para someterse a una cirugía para extirpar el cáncer testicular y para que reciba una atención más especializada para el cáncer y el tumor. Se le ha colocado un puerto de quimioterapia en el pecho y después de la cirugía comenzarán la quimioterapia para extirpar el tumor.

We are raising funds to help Manny and his wife, Ria, with medical bills, and to support them with still being able to financially provide for their 3 children: Natalia (13), Elijah (12), and Levi (6). Ria does not have benefits through her employer and Manny has not been able to work since mid-December.

I would love to support my brother and his family with reducing as much of the financial burden. We want Manny and his family to focus mostly on coming together for support and for Manny to focus on coming through this. It is all very uncertain at this time, and we want to focus on caring and supporting each other more than anything.
