Support Manny's Cancer Treatment and Recovery
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Manuel Armijo. I am a 34-year-old male from New Mexico who has experienced more challenges in my journey than I ever anticipated. In 2012, I underwent a life-saving heart transplant, a second chance that I embraced with unwavering determination.
Today, I find myself facing yet another formidable obstacle: cancer. This diagnosis is a reminder that life's battles can be relentless, but so is my determination to overcome them. Due to the sensitivity of my heart transplant and being immuno-compromised, this complicates my treatment and recovery.
My cancer journey is an arduous one. To access the best possible care, I may need to seek treatments out of state. The financial strain of ongoing medical treatments, coupled with travel expenses, bills, doctor visits, and hospital stays, is overwhelming.
I understand the world is full of people who need support, and asking for help is never easy. However, I have come to realize that it is through the strength of community that we can conquer the most daunting challenges. This is why I've created this GoFundMe campaign.
I thank you for any support you may offer during my journey to recovery, whether it’s through donations, thoughts, prayers, or positive energy. Your donations will make a profound impact on my life. They will alleviate the heavy financial burden, allowing me to focus on my health and my path to recovery. Your kindness offers me not just financial support, but also the priceless gift of hope.
Please consider contributing to this fundraiser, sharing my story, and extending your love and support. Your support means the world to me and provides the much-needed relief that will help me heal and continue my life's journey. Together, we can overcome this obstacle.
Update: The outpouring of donations, love, support and sharing has been overwhelming. Thank you all so much. Several chemo treatments remain I never imagined I could reach my goal. As I will continue to be out of work until chemo is finished and awhile after to recover and get back to normal. I appreciate your assistance and helping hands. Much love to you all.
