Hi my name is Antonio Cosby and my grandparents, Manuel and Emma Alvarado, recently lost their home in Altadena to the Eaton Fire. They’ve lived in Altadena since 1972 and still remember buying the house.

Emma, my grandma, would sell homemade flour tortillas and burritos to support her family. While Manuel, my grandpa, worked different jobs ranging from a truck driver to making styrofoam in a factory. These memories are just a few of the many memories they’ve made in their beautiful home. After 65 years together, this natural disaster has proved to be the most difficult. But their optimism, gratitude, and trust in God has kept them in positive spirit amidst this time.

I rarely do GoFundMe but I am so heartbroken. While we can’t replace everything they’ve lost, we’re trying our best to support them.

There is such a GREAT outpour to help but families are getting clothes with no closet to put them in, food with no fridge to put them in.

We’re currently trying to help them with their daily expenses, bills, and accommodations during evacuation.

It would mean the world to me if you could help support my grandparents during this period. Any donations, big and small, are deeply appreciated and felt. I’m personally donating a significant portion of my savings to this effort, and I’m asking for your help to multiply this impact.
