Support Marcie's Final Journey

I am Carsten Fruehwirth, son of Marcie Lynn Fruehwirth. In 2021, my mother was diagnosed with cancer, Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma growing around her carotid artery. Through surgery, her doctors were able to remove the tumor, at the cost of some nerve damage in her jaw, preventing her from being able to move her left lip and cheek. What was thought to be a saving grace was unfortunately only a temporary solution. Over the next few years, new cancer cells had grown and caused a variety of health problems for her, slowly decreasing her quality of life. During one hospital stay in April 2023, we found out the cancer had metastasized and spread across her body. Terminal bone cancer. The decline of her health has been long, dreadful, and grueling. As of writing this now, September 13th, 2024, my dear and wonderful mother is in her final days. Luckily, she is in good care with an amazing family friend and loved ones, friends who assist in taking care of her as she goes through this last stage. I've set up this GoFundMe in order to help with her funeral procession and cremation. The money raised here will assist me, the only involved member of our family, and our close family friend who has so graciously taken the duty of helping her in her last days.
