Support Marcos "MidarK" Ramos' Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
The loss of Marcos "Midarc" Ramos has left us all devastated, and the unexpectedly high expense of his funeral has further added to our grief. We would like to pay our respects, celebrate Mark's life, and say our final goodbyes at the funeral service he deserves. Please consider donating to my cause so that I can assist with Midarc's funeral expenses.
I think it would be a good idea to introduce you to my brother first. Many others considered Marcos a friend, cousin, uncle, brother, and son. At least in the eyes of Taina, Teddy, Nahmir, Atalia, and young Midarc, he was dad. Everyone who knew him could tell he was unique. I can sum up his life in a single word: "rollercoaster."
Mark experienced the utmost adversity as well as its extremes. He was shot more than fifteen times during a really low point in his life, and nobody thought he would make it. His father passed away during his time as a student, after being stricken with cancer. Summa cum laude was a challenge, but he overcame it by adjusting his boot straps. Then our mother was the victim of a hit-and-run, which changed our lives forever. After years of pain and suffering, she passed away. He was in the valley at the time, simply following the terrain, and his voyage went on, though at a slower pace than he had hoped. If you've ever been on a roller coaster, you know that just when you're about to need a helping hand to get back up to the top, your cart will strike the chain and practically stop moving. The chain, however, takes control at this point and pulls them over the last hill.
A longer and stronger chain is not made of a single piece, but rather of numerous smaller ones that are joined together by bonds. Even though it seemed like an uphill battle, I know that many people were pulling in tandem to protect him from falling and to use all our resources to help him reach the peak. We could hear Mark's rationalization of his actions—the clicking and wacky noises emanating from the cart—as we traveled. We may have been successful in delivering his roller coaster cart to its designated location, but. Additionally, I respectfully request your help as his family and I arrange for him to be properly farewelled with a final trip.
The ride that my brother was on has come to an end.
We all need to keep in mind that Mark was not the man who was required of him, but we give thanks to God that he is not the man he once was.
