Support Margo Watman After Tragic Loss

My wonderful sister Molly Watman's father-in-law, Maurie Watman, was struck and killed by a car this past Thursday, August 15th. He was escorting his wife, Margo, to a doctor's appointment near their home in San Clemente. His final act on this earth was to push Margo to safety before he was hit. Margo now faces the hardship of her late 70s' as a widow grieving the shocking death of her husband of nearly 50 years. They are pursing a legal case against the driver, but because of the criminal nature of the case, their attorney says it may take 2-3 years to resolve. Unfortunately, she has limited funds and could greatly benefit from some financial support during this extremely difficult time.

Maurie lived a life of service to his family, his friends and his community. He was generous and thoughtful, hilarious and loving, and the most devoted grandfather — "Pop-pop” — to his three grandchildren. He and Margo would spend many months visiting Molly and Aron to help with the kids. His devotion to his wife knew no bounds. They were virtually inseparable, showing the rest of us how to love and care for our beloveds.

Thank you for your generosity for this dearly beloved widow, a woman who has given and given without counting the cost to her friends and family. It's an honor to have an opportunity to give back to someone who has shared so much love for her family and friends.
