Support Maria and Scott's Recovery from Helene

My name is Maria Mitchell, and my husband is Scott Mitchell, the son of Charles and Trudy Mitchell. We currently live in Madeira Beach, FL 33708. We are both from upstate NY and have been living in FL for the past 4 years.

We have lost everything we own in Hurricane Helene. My husband has lost much of his tools needed for work, and my car was completely damaged as it was underwater. We are asking our friends, our family, and the community for any help they can possibly give at this time. Anybody that knows me knows how hard it is for me to ask for help, but we are in desperate need at the moment. My husband and I would be forever grateful. We live with my husband's aunt, Joyce Borza, my mother-in-law's sister, who is 81. The money would help us greatly as we need to replace sheetrock and baseboards. mold is already present and we are doing our best to get it cleaned and sanitized unfortunately we do NOT have insurance to fall back on and my vehicle only had liability coverage so that to is not covered I have spent my entire life helping people and unfortunately this time myself my husband and his aunt are in need of some help.
