Support Maria Isabel's Funeral Expenses

Hello everyone,

The heavens have gained an angel but in place, I've been left with a chunk of my heart gone.

My name is Janette Medellin and it is with a heavy heart that I've created this GoFundMe account to assist with the funeral expenses for my dear friend Maria Isabel who has left this earth unexpectedly at the young age of 40 years old. Still so young and with many more dream and accomplishments she wanted to fulfill, it was simply not her time.

She had been battling with medical issues for the past few years, going in and out of the hospital so funds were already extremely low and of course there were no signs nor warnings that we'd lose her any time soon.

Mari and I became instant besties 25 years ago, my "sister from another mister", the family we choose, my cheerleader, my confidant.

She was a total goofball, never a dull moment. She always wanted to make people happy, wore her heart on her sleeve, and was extremely giving that if she had the means she'd always want to help expecting nothing in return. It is an honor to have call her my best friend and life will not be the same without her in it. At this time we are only left with the consolation that she is no longer in pain and will reunite with her late mother once again.

As her family was not prepared for this unfortunate event, we humbly ask for any donation you can spare. All contributions, big or small, will help with funeral arrangements during this difficult time.
