Support my mom, Maria Linda Robles' End-of-Life Journey

Help ease my mother’s journey.

Hello everyone, this is Jason. I am raising funds to help my mom through her end-of-life journey. I am so blessed to have had her in my life for 52 years.

My mom was an emergency dispatcher for both the fire department and later the Police Department. She gave decades of service helping people in their most urgent time of need. She was living in Mexico on a modest retirement fund and when her health took a turn it required bringing her back to the states quickly. Her medicaid was not able to be re-established until after the emergency heart surgery was done because it all happened so fast.

My older brother stepped up and provided his home for our mother's end of life care and he also covered at this point around 13k in costs that came from his savings and retirement fund. My brother is a high school guidance counselor, and I feel obligated to try to help him recover from this. His job is very selfless. He deserves the support. I work in the music industry and do not bring in a lot of money, but I have a large network so I am hoping some folks who my work has benefited can help.

If you can help our family get through this, I will be eternally grateful for that kindness. I never imagined it would be this terrifying and painful to see a loved one slip away like this. She passed away on December 30th in my brother's home after several weeks of in-home hospice care. We were both with her holding her hand through her last days. Letting her know she as loved.
