Help Mariah and Her Kids Rebuild After a Devastating House Fire

My dear friend Mariah and her three beautiful children—ages 9, 7, and 4—have suffered an unimaginable loss. Just days after Christmas, a fire that started in a neighbor’s house spread to Mariah’s home, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

The timing of this tragedy is heartbreaking. Mariah worked tirelessly to create a safe and loving home for her kids, overcoming countless financial challenges to make it happen. Now, not only have they lost their home, but all of the children’s Christmas gifts and cherished belongings are gone as well.

Mariah is one of the most positive, loving, and encouraging people I know. As a fellow photographer, she inspires those around her with her creativity and generosity. She’s the kind of friend who’s always ready to help others, even when she’s struggling herself.

This disaster has turned her world upside down, and I’m asking for your help to get her and her children back on their feet. The funds raised will go directly toward securing a new place to live, replacing basic essentials like clothing and furniture, and helping Mariah rebuild the life she’s worked so hard to create for her family.

In front of the building on the left-hand side, there’s a connected apartment-like area (a parcel) with a porch.

Please place donations in a bag (such as a garbage bag) and label it “Mariah” so we can ensure everything gets to her family.

4-year-old girl: Size 5/6

7-year-old girl: Size 8/9

9-year-old boy: Size 12/14

Mariah: Size XL/XXL
