Greetings everyone.
We are the Clemons family of Buffalo, N.Y.
Myself, Bernice Clemons and my husband June are the proud parents of 14 children.
We are a working class family and have always been able to provide our children with the essential needs. Most of all, they grew up in a household full of God, love, laughter, togetherness and faith.
We are now facing one of the biggest challenges of our lifetime.
Our youngest child, Mariah (22 years ) was in a horrific accident. (link is below)
On June 8th, 2024, Mariah and her friend were involved in a minor accident with a UHAUL truck. As they were on the side of the road exchanging insurance information a DUMP truck struck the UHAUL vehicle from behind, and thereafter struck all 3 people, including Mariah.
All three people were taken to a hospital. One person, a 34-year-old man from Collingdale, Pennsylvania, had moderate injuries and was listed in stable condition, according to police. The other two – a 22-year-old woman from Buffalo, New York and a 25-year-old woman from Aurora, Ohio – were listed in "extremely critical condition" after sustaining severe injuries.

Through the will of God and power of prayer, Mariah has survived this traumatic event.
And by survive, we mean she is ALIVE, however, her injuries include severe damage to her small and large intestine, along with her bladder, one kidney, her liver as well as her spleen. Her lower extremities are crushed. It took seven surgeries to stop the internal bleeding. She is now in a medical coma. It will be a lengthy process and we have no idea how long she will be in this hospital.
As I mentioned in the beginning of this letter, we all reside in Buffalo, N.Y.
Mariah was visiting a friend in Philadelphia when the accident occurred.
She is now there, in the hospital 500 miles away from Buffalo, N.Y.
We all NEED to be with her during this critical time. We do not know what each day will bring.
The money collected from this fund would go to travel expenses including accommodations, flights and gas.
A little about Mariah. She is fun loving, hardworking and adventurous. She is full of joy and full of life. We love her immensely! She is a huge part of our family!
Anything that can be given to help aid through this heart breaking ordeal is appreciated.
With love and humble gratitude,
The Clemons Family
