My name is Bushra, and I am a Palestinian-American reaching out on behalf of my cousin, Mariam Al Qerem, whose life has been shattered by the ongoing war in Gaza.

Mariam’s husband, the sole provider for their family, was tragically murdered by Israeli snipers in front of their children—Hanan (17), Zaynab (14), Saleem (12), and Qusay (8). This unimaginable act of violence has left Mariam a grieving widow, struggling to care for her four children entirely on her own.

To make matters even worse, their home has been completely demolished in the attacks, leaving Mariam and her children homeless. They are now surviving in makeshift tents that offer little protection from the harsh winter cold. Every day is a battle for basic necessities like food, warmth, and safety.

I am raising funds to help Mariam rebuild her life and provide her children with the care, stability, and shelter they so desperately need. Your contributions will go directly toward securing housing, food, clothing, and other essential resources for this grieving family.
