Support Marina's Journey Back in the Saddle

Marina Fox is a 17-year-old girl who lost her horse, Yukon, yesterday (6/8/24) in the devastating barn fire in Belle Center, OH (Brant Performance Horses/Priest Performance Horses) where some of the best reining horses in the country lived.
If you have never had the pleasure of meeting Marina, she is one of the most hard-working kids I know. This sweet girl had big dreams with her boy and was well on her way to achieving them this year after taking a few years off in the show pen to get to this point. Last year she bought Yukon and co-trained him with her trainer, Eric Priest.
When Marina is not working with her horse, she works for Brandon Brant as a groomer, throwing saddles on horses, washing horses, wrapping legs, etc for hours on end.
This barn was Marina’s second home most days but she did ALL of it because of her dreams. Unfortunately, yesterday those dreams were cut short.
I compromised with my 15-year-old daughter that instead of emptying her bank account for her best friend, we try and help Marina in an impactful way.
Marina lost her horse.
Marina lost her tack.
Marina lost her job.
And in a matter of a few short hours, it was all gone.
And trust me when I say, we all need a friend like Marina is to Brooke.
Although money will never bring back Yukon, Marina will find the day where she is ready to get back in the saddle and try to make her dreams come true.
If you have or ever dreamed of making a young, deserving kid’s dreams seem attainable again, please use this opportunity. She is one heck of a young woman.
There will be a day when she is ready to chase after those dreams at the futurity and Quarter Horse Congress.
6/17/24 Update: Monies will be directly deposited to Marina’s mother, Darci Fox, to help oversee funds. Funds will be used to help Marina purchase a new horse and horse tack.
The Fox’s are family friends of our family.
