Support Marisa’s Memorial & Ariza's Recovery Journey

On August 23, Marisa and Ariza were headed to Marisa’s mom’s house when they were involved in a tragic car accident that left them both in critical condition. Thankfully Ari has been released since and is home recovering with her Nana Christine. Marisa however is currently still in critical condition in the ICU unit of the hospital with a severe brain injury.

This will be long and difficult recovery journey for the girls. In addition to the obvious expense of the girls stay in the hospital they will also have the expense of many doctor visits, rehabilitation and treatments on top of regular living expenses to keep both households afloat. We would like to raise money for the girls expenses and Christine as she will be caring for them during this time and hope that finances will not be another thing she has to worry about. Any amount you can give helps tremendously. We thank you all for your support and prayers and ask that you continue praying for the girls throughout this journey.

Marisa is a beloved young lady cherished by family, friends, and many others. She is known for her drive dedication, and big heart. She’s spent her last eight years working in local elementary schools. The Issac school district for 5 years & Vista College Prep- Maryvale for 3 years. Marisa’s compassion and willingness to help others has touched countless lives. She sets an example daily for her daughter of what it means to be kindhearted and loving.

This has been an extremely difficult time for the family, especially Christine as she navigates this situation. Due to the overwhelming circumstances we as a family are trying to reduce the amount of texts/calls she is responding to. We please do ask that you direct questions to other members of the family. We also are not accepting visitors at this time as the girls need as much rest as possible as they recover. Thank you so much in advance for your support throughout this time.
