Support Marisa's Battle Against Stage4BreastCancer
Donation protected
Hi everyone, as many of you may know a few years ago Marisa was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After going through treatment and having many procedures done Marisa was deemed in remission. Unfortunately, only a few months ago, the cancer returned in a more aggressive form. She now has Stage 4, metastatic adenocarcinoma, which stemmed from her previous cancer. The cancer has spread to many parts of her body and her doctors are working towards finding the best course of treatment at this time and providing many different procedures weekly to help the symptoms that she is experiencing. Some of the specifics will not be shared out of respect for her children.
Marisa has four beautiful kids to love and support. She is often gone many days of the week needing to stay in the hospital in Chicago (RUSH) for treatments and appointments. Her returned cancer has made her unable to work to provide for her family. Her husband, Alben, has also not been working, as he has been mostly home with Marisa to take care of her. He is often helping her around, draining fluid from her body, and transporting her to and from appointments. They live just under an hour away from any family and roughly 2-3 hours away from the hospital she is seen at. She is in need for extra support to help with transportation to and from the hospital at RUSH in chicago, parking while they are there, and extra care items, such as oxygen at home. These generous donations would also help with paying for monthly living expenses such as rent, utilities, and groceries. She has expressed that any donations would also aid in allowing her to continue to let her children experience the fun of summer, as right now they do not have much to spare for anything outside of the necessities.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and your consideration for a donation. Marisa, Alben and their children are forever grateful for any help that comes there way.
God Bless.
