Support Mark and Laura's Recovery

Donation protected
Today I drove east on Route 60 from Wickenburg back to my home in Wittmann, AZ. As I left Wickenburg, I saw the smoke billowing through the air from afar. Driving past the Hassayumpa River Preserve, it became clear very quickly that the fire was a wildfire, and that it was burning furiously. I was blessed to get by route 60 before it closed, and I made my way home safely. As I drove past Rio Tierra Casitas, the business of a dear friend, whom I just left the company of, I felt the growing doom in my soul that one of the most amazing, loving, and giving souls I know will not have the same story to tell.
Mark and Laura Flores, the owners of Rio Tierra Casitas, lost their business, their home, and all of their possessions. Their casitas are consumed by the Rose fire. Aside from running their business, they are active members of their community, providing the gift of music to worship at their church, as well as to local schools and community events. Their altruistic nature is seen through Wickenburg, and they are in need of our support. Please consider donating in order to assist in the recovery of such a catastrophic loss.
