Support Mark's Fight for Life

Mark and Martha Nazar and their 2 children, Matthias and Alanna, get up every morning thinking this is all a horrible dream that they will miraciouosly wake up from, but the sad reality is that it’s not, this is their living breathing nightmare.  Mark , age 53, was diagnosed with Bile Duct Cancer in December of 2015.  Chemotherapy treatments were started right away and to his family and friends’ delight,  the cancer appeared to be shrinking.   As treatment continued, Mark developed a life threatening allergy to his chemotherapy and all progress came to a screeching halt.  As of August 2016, the cancer had grown and spread leaving no further viable treatment options in Canada.

With no alternatives available in Canada, Mark  had a consultation with Dr. Karl Aigner of the Medias Klinikum Hospital in Burghausen, Germany.  Prof. Dr. med. Aigner is one of the world’s pioneers in the field of regional chemotherapy.*  After reviewing Mark's file, Dr. Aigner believes he can successfully treat Mark's cancer and even put him into remission if treatment begins as soon as humanly possible. The most important thing we can do to help at this point is to give Mark the tools to FIGHT.

The cost for the treatment is way beyond the Nazar's current means, but not beyond our means as a loving, caring community.
