Support Marks Treatment and Recovery

For those who know me personally, you know that my dad has always put others first. It is with a heavy heart that I share that my loving father Mark , A truly amazing father , Husband and Grandfather and friend to so many has, on the 20th June had what we thought was a slip and fall in the shower, only to now know that he has suffered a " SUBARACHNOID HEMORRHAGE " which a form of a stroke caused by a ruptured anuresym which is severe bleeding on the brain which we were all unaware he had.
He was rushed to Blacktown Hospital where after extensive tests, he was immediately transferred to Westmead Private hospital to have emergency Neuro Surgery. He has from then, had multiple complex neurological procedures, is suffering from severe brain swelling along with fluid build up that his body cannot currently regulate and this is causing him to remain in ICU, where he was in an induced coma for well over a week.
After days of the doctors attempting to reduce the sedation, it was finally able to be reduced to a point where he was somewhat awake enough to be assessed by the doctors.
Since being brought out of the coma, he is continuing in ICU until the doctors can assess the fluid and currently today, he remains in a critical condition, with a high possibility of further surgeries required to give him the best chance at recovery.
As of today, he is struggling to speak, and to those of you who know him how we do, we know this would he very difficult for him to not be able to voice his own words. He does his best to follow commands but his movement is very minimal, and he has both good and bad days which has been hard on the whole family.
Doctors have advised us that they do hope in months to come he will be in a condition to be able to come home, but for this to happen there is a very long road ahead of him of multiple types of therapies including but not limited to speech, orthopaedic, physiotherapy and more.
Medical bills as you can imagine have been coming through and are continuing grow, with possible months upon months of hospital stay , rebahabilition facilities, housing renovations and much much more.
My father was the only income and support to his wife Lee. My mother who also suffers from a a irreparable chronic back and nerve issues whichhas resulted in her being unable to work.
Now this has happened with my dad, it has left us in an unfortunate circumstance for the household no longer having an income and being able to support the therapies required for dad to come home.
We as a family can only do as much as possible to support mum and dad during this difficult and stressful time but any help for my father would be extremely appreciated.
We know these are hard times for everyone but we as a family deeply ask for any support that can assist in these stressful times for both my mum and dad.
Thank you so much for all the care and passion everyone has shown towards my dad , my mother and family at this time.
