Support Mark's Weight Loss Surgery Journey

Hi everyone,

After much consideration and many months of trying to convince our friend to permit me to initiate a GoFundMe campaign to support his ongoing weight loss journey, he has finally granted me permission.

I am reaching out for some help! As many of you know, insurance in the States is a joke. Our good friend Mark has been trying to get his weight loss surgery approved for the last two years. Despite fulfilling all the requirements outlined by the insurance company, his requests have been repeatedly denied as NOT Medically Necessary. We have made several appeals, yet the insurance continues to deny it, stating it's not medically necessary. For two years now, he has been anxiously waiting for his surgery date.

Mark's weight has led to several underlying health. While trying to get his surgery approved, he lost over 100 pounds. He has come so far on this journey that continuing to get denied is frustrating. Let's help our dear friend out by giving him a little push and helping him fund his surgery. All donations will cover the cost of his surgery, medication, and hospital stay.

So, I am here humbly asking everyone who knows Mark and those who don't for a little help. If you know Mark, you know there is nothing that he wouldn't do for his family or his friends.
