Support Marly & Rama for USATF -Junior Olympics

Hello everyone, our names are Rama and Marly Diallo. We have been running track for almost four years now. We have been progressing throughout those years. When we first started, we worked hard to make it to regionals but unfortunately, we were not able to qualify for nationals and we were crushed. This inspired us to work harder so that we can have a shot in the next season. The following year, our hard work finally paid off and qualified for regionals and Nationals, where we would be competing among some of the best track and field athletes in the Nation. 
 
2019 marks our 4th year running and we have been improving overtime. We recently competed in the regionals (July 4-6) and were fortunate to qualify for the nationals which will take place in Sacramento California between July 22 - 29, 2019. We had faith that we could make it to nationals, and we did! But we found out that nationals takes place in Sacramento, California which is on the other side of the country. Because of the cost of travel there is a possibility that we may not be able to attend this competition, which will be devastating, since we worked so hard to get here. Also, as part of the 4X100 and 4X400 relay team, our absence will ruin the chances of our teammates to compete for a medal and we will also be letting them down. 


The total cost for our flight and hotel is approximately $1500, and we are asking you to donate anything that you may have so that we can make it to California. We will be sure to make the money you donated worth your while by winning a medal.
