Support Martha!

Donation protected
Martha is a long time Mission resident, an immigrant  hard working single mom, who has always worked hard cleaning houses to provide for her son and her mother.

Four months ago, she (along with her mother) got sick with COVID and was hospitalized for 3 months, in a coma with a respirator for the last month-- the doctors gave her less than a 10% chance to survive, but she fought for her life and won!!! --- and now we, her community, want to step up to help her recover and get her family stabilized economically.

She did not receive any support from the City or any other non-profit agency, and now due to the damage COVID caused on her hands and feet, she is unable to work.

Unfortunately, her fingers will be amputated on December 21st, and her feet can barely carry her.

She is behind  more than $4000 in rent, and her debt growth with each passing month.

She is unable to provide for her son or for her elderly  mother (who also survived hospitalization with COVID at the same time as hers and now is bed ridden requiring care around the clock).

Please help show Martha that she is not alone, and that her community stretches all throughout!
