My name is Vianca Martinez and I'm a junior at Marshall fundamental hs

On Jan 8 2025, my life changed completely. Like a lot of homes in Altadena CA, my grandparents' home burned down by the Eaton Fire.

This is, or was my childhood home where I laughed, had family parties, and enjoyed special milestones.

My grandparents home was not just home to me, but to my siblings, cousins, aunts & uncle. They took us all in, and countless people over the years.

This has been home to them for over 30 years, and in a blink of an eye, it was all gone.

When we received the evacuation notice, we never imagined that was going to be the last time we would ever be in our home.

We only packed a weekend back, expecting to be back home in a few days. Now that day will never come.

We started this gofund me account, like many families, hoping we can come together as a community to help each other, and unite when we need to the most.

Any donation, of any amount is greatly appreciated and will be used to help rebuild our lives and home.
