Support Martin's Soup Kitchen Renovations

Dear Friends and Supporters of Martin’s:

We are reaching out to you with a special appeal to support our beloved community soup kitchen as we conduct essential renovations to improve accessibility, health, and safety.

Since we moved here in 1987, our location at 225 Potrero has been a sanctuary from the streets, providing warm meals and a welcoming environment to those in need. However, our facility is in dire need of upgrades to ensure that we can continue to serve everyone in our community, including those with disabilities. By enhancing our accessibility features, we aim to create an inclusive space where everyone feels welcome and valued.

In addition to accessibility improvements, we are making health and safety upgrades. This includes installing a new, state-of-the-art dishwasher, easier-to-clean wall and floor surfaces, and upgrading our plumbing. These renovations are crucial to maintaining a safe environment for both the individuals we serve and our volunteers.

Our renovations are estimated to cost $300,000. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact on our ability to complete these renovations and continue our mission of serving the community.
