Support Mason's Burn Recovery Journey

Hi Everyone! My name is Christy O'Connor, Mason's aunt. I want to say thank you for the concern we share for Mason. So many of you have reached out asking how you can donate.

As you know, he is an extremely humble young man. He would never expect a thing. So your contributions to assist in his medical matters, are very heart warming to him.

Mason's story: On the evening of October 12, he was cooking dinner on the stove. Attempting to fry some french fries. The grease was smoldering, causing the smoke alarms to go off. He attempted to carry the pot of HOT grease outside and didn't make it before it spilled.

He has incurred 3rd degrees on his right arm and hand, both legs/feet and toes.

He was air flighted to Denver Children's Burn Center where he will undergo surgery on Monday, October 28 for skin grafting.

Post-Surgery, he will have several follow up visits over the course of the next 12 months for burn care and physical therapy while in Denver. The long term goal is to regain his ability to walk and complete dexterity in his hand.

Our hope is that we can help in defraying some of the expenses related to the months of travel back to Denver.
