Support Matthew after an extensive burn accident

Donation protected
Dear friends,
I write to you today with a heavy heart, devastated by the news that has impacted my twin brother and best friend, Matthew Arnold-Ladensack. Life had been building up to an exciting time, as he was about to start a new dream – a food truck venture named Clydesdale Hitch. August 1, 2023, was meant to mark the beginning of this journey.

The night before opening day, tragedy struck and an explosion occurred inside the truck. Matthew and Jordan, the dedicated manager of Clydesdale Hitch, found themselves caught amid this horrifying event. The aftermath left Matthew's body burned by 2nd and 3rd-degree burns, covering around 33% of his body. The severity of these burns are on his legs. These burns extend to his hands, palms, arms, his face. We unfortunately are unsure of how many surgeries he will need at this point.

The tranquility of their ranch in Whitefish, Montana, has been shattered by this incident. There are no burn units in the state of Montana. Due to this, Matthew was transported by air to the burn unit ICU at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Beside him stands Benjamin, his husband who has been supporting and advocating for him. While distance separates me from their side, the ache is immeasurable.
Matthew is more than a co-owner of Clydesdale Outpost, more than a successful Realtor & Team Lead at Topography brokered by eXp Realty. He is an entrepreneur who pours all he has into every endeavor.
The road ahead is fraught with challenges. Medical bills will continue to accumulate and we know he will be facing more setbacks with his ranch, due to not being able to put in the work he once was enduring.
By contributing to his GoFundMe account, you offer more than financial relief. As Matthew takes each step towards recovery, his ranch staff carries on, working diligently in his absence. Your support ensures their dedication is sustained.
But let us not forget Jordan, the manager who stood by Matthew's side and was scarred by the same event. She too deserves our assistance and it is very important to Matthew, Benjamin, family, and Clydesdale staff that she too is being supported. Her GoFundMe account is: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-jordan-recover-after-explosion .

It is important to mention that Matthew's father is a retired Phoenix Fire Captain. He served with unwavering dedication for over 36 years and has witnessed the impact of burn injuries firsthand on the job. This connection adds to our collective determination to see Matthew and Jordan rise above their ordeal.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you for taking the time to read these words and to connect with our story. Your contribution, your thoughts, and your prayers have been carrying us during this time. If you wish to follow Matthew's journey, his Caring Bridge website: https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/matthewarnold-ladensack will be how we are updating family and friends.

With deepest appreciation,
Melissa Thomson (Ladensack)
