Support Matthew Floyd's Fight Against Lymphoma
Donation protected
This GoFundMe was set up to help Matthew Floyd with his chemotherapy treatments for lymphoma. I'm his sister helping my family set this up. Matthew is 23 and was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma officially on October 30th, 2024. He was kicked off of our parent's insurance plan due to working full time, but, as of October 21, 2024, he is unable to work and make money. We're starting this to help with his cancer treatment due to him not having insurance. His whole life, he's been a respectable and trustworthy person. He's one of the best and kindest people I know. Seeing him going through this and being in constant pain and discomfort is really hard. He's helped me through so many things and so I want to help in any way I can.
His chemotherapy is going to cost a lot and, with him not yet having insurance of his own and being unknowingly kicked off our parent's plan, we're going to need some financial help. He didn't find out about being kicked off until he was already at the hospital, prior to the actual diagnosis. He is working on finding an insurance plan, but it will surely take some time since he isn't working at the time.
He is going to have 2 chemotherapy treatments a month for 6 months, so, we're going to need a little bit of help with it while we try to get him some insurance. Thank you to anyone who is able to donate even the slightest amount. It seriously means a lot.
