Support Matthew Nguyen’s family after his tragic death.

This fundraiser is hosted by the friends of Matthew Nguyen and his family.

Matthew’s life was tragically taken by an impaired driver in Fircrest on Monday, November 18, 2024. Matthew was only 19 years old and just beginning his life.

His sister, Milanie, was also injured in the car and had to be transported to the hospital where she was released later that evening.

Matthew graduated from Curtis in 2023 and lettered in swim and water polo. He was a long-time lifeguard at the YMCA. Matthew’s goal was to become a registered nurse. He attended PLU and TCC while also working at a nursing home for his CNA. His close friends, girlfriend, and their families all loved Matthew.

This fundraiser will help the family with funeral costs, medical bills, and attorney expenses. Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated. We hope our surrounding community will rally around this wonderful family and help them through this extremely difficult time. No parent should have to bury a child.
