Support Matthew's Garden Cafe After Palisades Fire

On Tuesday afternoon, a devastating fire destroyed Matthew's Garden Cafe, a cherished part of our community. While the owners, Matthew and Zara, are absolutely heartbroken over the loss, their immediate concern and focus is on their loyal employees—many of whom have become like family. These dedicated individuals now face the sudden challenge of lost income and uncertain futures.

Matthew and his team have spent every single day for the past 14 years at the cafe pouring their hearts and souls into the food and relationships with the community that they've built there. The birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, church meetings, and smiling faces (particularly with all their 'regulars' that ate at the cafe daily) are what Matthew and the staff are going to miss the most during this time.

Matthew and Zara are committed to doing everything they can to support their staff through this hardship, which is why we're asking for your help to cover some immediate costs for recovery. Your donation will provide crucial financial relief to their employees while they search for new work and urgent costs for January that unfortunately insurance won't cover.
