Support Max Recoup Loss Income & Buy A New Cart

This hardworking senior Paletero Man has been a staple in the Pacoima community for many years. I’m sure many of the people that this will come across have seen him or remember him from their childhood. I began working from home in January of 2020 and that is when I really took notice of Max, and seen him daily even in 100+ degree weather. Throughout that time I would speak to him daily for a couple minutes as I would buy a Coca-Cola from him everyday I seen him. Fast-forward, In November I noticed I had not seen him for what I assumed was a Covid Diagnosis. However, after 2-3 weeks I still didn’t see him. About 3 months had gone by until I seen him again, it turns out he didn’t test positive but was in a hospital in LA for low blood pressure. 

I raised funds independently for a total of:
$618.33.

My girlfriend and I will also be donating $150 each on top of that. 

So, in total, we’ve raised $918.33, which we will be pledging on top of this GoFundMe.

The purpose of these donations is to:
- Recoup the loss income while Max was in the hospital 
- Buy Max a new ice cream cart.
