Support Maya Lin's 2024 Science Camp

Send Maya Lin's 5th Graders to Science Camp 2024!

With the outdoors as their classroom, students will have a unique opportunity to internalize and create meaning by interacting with the environment during hands-on inquiry-based lessons, nature field studies, hiking, archery and more!

This invaluable experience costs $400 per student. This amount covers the collective expense of transportation, tuition, food, lodging, and teacher chaperones. With a commitment to providing financial aid to any child that would otherwise be unable to attend, our Maya Lin community has spent the last year doing extensive fundraising via food sales, movie nights, and community fundraisers (thank you, Subpar!), but scholarship requests have increased this year, and we still find ourselves $2,000 shy of the amount needed.

We appreciate any and all community support, and no donation is too small! Your donation (of any amount) will ensure that no student will be turned away for lack of funds. Thank you in advance for making Science Camp a reality for our Maya Lin 5th Graders!
