Please Help MC Dwyer during her Battle with Cancer

My dear friend and colleague, MC (Mary Catherine) Dwyer, is in need of our help. She and her husband have been through a lot of loss. After MC survived breast cancer, they lost their home in the Boulder Creek CZU fire, which was under-insured. They are now living in a home where the roof leaks during rain. Her husband then lost his job when the cabinet shop he worked for closed. Last year pain overtook MC's body. None of her doctors thought to test for cancer; by March of 2023 she could barely walk and was in overwhelming pain. Cancer metastases were discovered by an ER Doctor during a visit for a different problem. She has so many metastases that her liver is inoperable. This latest round of cancer is in her spine. She is living with multiple compression fractures throughout her spine and both hips, which all happened gradually and due to financial hardship, she has had to work through all of this. Last week the cancer caused 3 of the vertebrae In her neck to break. This was a sudden series of 3 compression fractures. Her bones are so weak, from cancer and radiation, that they can fracture during even light activity. All doctors are able to offer are pain meds and radiation. MC has applied for disability and was told it can take 2-6 months to start receiving disability income :-0 Despite all of this, MC maintains a positive attitude!
