Declaration: This is a page to support me (Nahed) and my friend Sameera and our families to leave Gaza to another country to continue our lives and education away from genocide. Angus David Phaure from the UK is only receiving the money on our behalf in order to pay for our travels. In Gaza, we cannot receive money to our bank accounts.

Dear Humans of the World,
My name is Nahed Abu Eyada, a Palestinian health officer in Gaza and I'm reaching out for support to get myself and my friend who is a fourth-year dentistry student out of Gaza. The recent horrifying events since 7th October have not only destroyed our homes but have also shattered our dreams and aspirations. We have endured treacherous conditions and unimaginable hardship for nearly three months. Every day that we remain in Gaza is the terrifying reality of them not surviving the next bombing. As conditions worsen and our lives threatened daily, this is an urgent plea for help.
My family's house was bombarded and partly destroyed and I and my friend were forced to evacuate to southern Gaza with nothing except our educational certificates. We are starving, and living in horrible conditions since the beginning of October.
Picture of my destroyed neighbourhood.
Before the war, I studied in the USA and I travelled the world, and I loved my country and always worked for humanitarian agencies to support good cause.
Right now, I am doing nothing except escaping death by the moment.
My friend, Sameera, is a fourth-year dentistry student and was looking forward to finish her studies and travel to study MSc in the UK. Right now, her dreams are destroyed, her university is destroyed, her house is partly destroyed, and she is been living on dry chickpeas for the last 4 days. She says to me "I feel awful I feel dead I feel dirty and I feel worthless"....
Sameera in the lab with her friend; before the war
Sameera in the lab before the war....
Unfortunately Sameera's university has been erased by heavy bombardment, bombing the lockers room which was full of our instruments, material and memories, all of these are turned into ash. as a senior student Sameera was excited to graduate from dental school to achieve my goals and dream.
Sameera's university at the moment...
Sameera also says: "I remember 13/10 when the Israeli army forced my family to leave our house and evacuate to the south which supposed to be a safe place, but guess what! There is no safe place in Gaza from south to the north and every area is targeted, since day one being in the south a scary sounds of explosions are not stopping, we were trapped by the Israeli tanks for 5 days they were targeting all homes, hospitals and streets. So we were not able to leave our place having no food or clean water, as we can't access to clean water we forced to drink water from the tap which was an unsuitable water for the whole 5 days, we lost the connections and all forms of life as we have been without electricity and internet connection. We have been evacuated place 4 times seeking safety. on 21 November we were displaced at AlNussairat Camp which supposed to be a safe place, in the middle of the night we woke up on a massacre, terrified from heavy bombardment, falling pieces of glass, shrapnel and white phosphorus gas. they bombed a nearby house without being warned before, my dad and brother got injured from the falling glass and they survived by a miracle. seeing in front of my eyes how people are holding dead and injured bodies to transfer them to the hospital running in the street shouting we need an ambulance, We called the ambulance to come and rescue us but they answered they can't come or they will be bombed. Seeing in front my eyes burned bodies and full of martyrs after this heavy explosion, this scene haven't left my mind. It was the scariest moments I lived during the war, after 6 hours I felt my body shaking, nausea, vomiting, traumatized not able to walk and terrified going through a panic attack."
Our tent currently....
Therefore, we have no option other than asking you if you would be so kind as to help us relocate to a safer place outside of Gaza and away from horrendous danger.
Your support means more than just aid. Your support will save my life, my friend's life and the lives of our families.
Use of funds
The goal is to raise enough money to evacuate my family’s two adults and Sameera's family (6 adults). The current cost of one adult to enter Egypt from Gaza is around £6,000. This means that the funds needed for an evacuation to Egypt are around £50,000. The funds will be transferred to my a UK bank account of my friend since I cannot myself receive the funds in Gaza.
Thank you so much for considering this cause to donate to. Words cannot express how much international solidarity has meant for all Palestinians.
With gratitude,
Nahed Abu Eyada
