Support me to represent Curling Jamaica in Canada.

Hello everyone!

My name is Luke Samuels and I have dual nationality that being of Scottish/Jamaican holding both UK and Jamaican passports and citizenship. My Grandad travelled from Jamaica to the UK on the Windrush in 1948 to help build up the country after World War II. Jamaica has always been so close to my heart and my Grandad was a role model and key figure in my life.

I have always wanted to represent Jamaica in sport since I was very young and after all my hard work, effort, help and guidance from others I will be achieving my goal. I am delighted, so very proud and happy to announce that I will be representing Jamaica for Curling Jamaica in Canada, February 2024!

The events in which I will play competitively is the Jamaica playdowns on 24th and 25th February 2024. Both events will be held at Dundas Valley Curling Club in Hamilton, Ontario Canada.

Due to this sport not being funded I would appreciate any financial support that anyone can contribute. With your help and kind donations it will be possible for me to represent Jamaica and gain valuable experience in order for me to also help others in the sport of curling.

The donations will be used towards getting return flights from Scotland to Canada and also accommodation. Anything over my target will help with food and travel while in Canada.

I am very grateful for this opportunity.

Thank you ever so much!
