Support Melandre's Cancer Battle

Dear Friends, Family and Colleagues,

We are raising funds to support seventeen-year-old Melandre Steenkamp as he battles his way through a second bout of cancer. Melandre is the younger brother of our mechatronics engineer Jancko. It was only one and half years ago when doctors found sarcoma in his left tibia. Through the wonders of medical science his tibia and knee were completely replaced with a titanium bone and, with just over 1 year of remission, it was hoped that he had won the battle. Unfortunately, the cancer had other plans. It has recently been discovered in other parts of his body and he is now embarking on another round of chemotherapy to target and hopefully eliminate the sarcoma from his body for good.

Melandre loves camping, riding his bike, playing video games, and has a passion for cooking and woodworking. Any donation that you can offer to help this brave young man’s fight will be greatly appreciated.
