Support Melissa and Her Dogs After Tragedy
Donation protected

Our dear friend, Melissa Young, was tragically impacted by the recent wildfire in Altadena, California, on January 8th, 2025. Forced to evacuate with only her precious dogs, Melissa lost her home and everything in it.
Melissa is a devoted dog owner and friend, and has always shown incredible love and care for her Akita family. Now, she is facing the daunting task of rebuilding her life and ensuring her canine companions have what they need. That's where we need your help.
This fundraiser aims to:
Provide immediate relief for Melissa as she navigates this challenging time.
Help with the immediate replacement of personal items for Melissa, such as clothes and hygiene items.
Help replace essential items for her Akita Kershaw, and Corgi Remi, such as food, bowls, beds, leashes, and medication.
Help replace vital show equipment and grooming equipment for Kershaw.
Help continue with 14-year-old Remi's medical care for renal failure. He has weekly fluid treatments at the vet, medications, and a special diet.
Contribute to the long-term process of rebuilding her life.
Every donation, large or small, will make a significant difference in helping Melissa and her dogs recover. Please consider contributing and sharing this campaign. Thank you for your compassion!
