Wednesday Update
Thank you to everyone who has expressed condolences. Our family is so humbled by the outpouring of love and support that has come in. Thank you so much! We are having a celebration of life for Noah on Friday at 1 pm. It will be at the Haisley Funeral Home. Our friend, Frank Clore, will officiate the service. We appreciate your prayers during this difficult time. We have seen God show up and minister to us and have peace that Noah is in Heaven with Jesus, which is so comforting. The loss is so deep and this is really hard.
UPDATE: They are removing Noah from life support today and preparing his organs for donation. Thank you for covering Melissa, Taylor, David, and Maddie for the loss of their precious son and brother.
Melissa is facing every mother's worst nightmare. Her son Noah, 18, was in a motorcycle accident yesterday and is fighting for his life in a Florida hospital. Despite the devastating news, her faith remains steadfast, and she is believing for a miraculous recovery. We are believing with her in prayer for Noah's full recovery and for the strength and comfort she needs during this difficult time.
Melissa was returning home from a missions trip at the Adult & Teen Challenge in Uganda and arrived halfway home to Amsterdam. It was here where she received this tragic news. She returned to Seattle, went through customs and is now waiting for a flight to Orlando Florida and then two hours drive to Port St Lucie to the trauma hospital where Noah is. We are all believing that God is going to turn this around for his glory.
we do not want this family to worry about anything financially. Would you consider helping her and her children by contributing to this fund. Melissa is not one to ask for anything and in fact gives generously to everyone.
she recently completed one year at Adult & Teen Challenge , a faith based discipleship program. She struggled in addiction and knew that she needed to get help. God got ahold of her life and she committed to another year discipleship as an intern. She has now almost completed a year as a staff member at this ministry and gives of herself to the women as they come through and need help. She found out in her program that the root of her addiction, was that as a child her mother left her family due to addiction. Melissa learned to just keep going, be strong, but this was her down fall. She wasn’t strong, she needed her mom, to see her and love her and say good job. In her relationship with the Lord, she is allowing Him to heal her heart from so much rejection and self will and doing life a part from God in her own strength. She is not the same woman that came for help 3 years ago. When you get to know Melissa you can see Jesus in her life. In her smile. Her compassion is beautiful. All that she has wanted was to be the most amazing mom to her children and love Jesus with all of her heart. Please consider helping her with the provisions needed to focus on her family and relieve the pressure and stress of this situation. Thank you so much’
