Support Melissa in Covering Cremation Costs

On June 6, 2024, my step mother, Julie Brewer passed away unexpectedly.

After a welfare check was requested, because she was unable to be contacted, the sheriff's department confirmed she had been found deceased. Unfortunately, she had no life insurance.

I (Melissa Daniel) went to the funeral home to make arrangements with Frederick Dean Funeral Home & Crematory. I signed for her ashes not knowing they would hold myself responsible for the bill as they listed me as her daughter.

Julie's biological daughter is refusing to help with her own mother's ashes.

The funeral home is now proceeding legal action to sue me for payment of her cremation.

I am a full-time caregiver to my special needs brother Michael Brewer. I take care of my daughter, Lauren, and my husband's special needs sister as well.

I am a woman of faith and I am asking for any help during this time of legal threatening need. I would truly appreciate any help and support I can get.
