Support Melonie's Hospice Journey and Final Expenses
Donation protected
I am asking for your help to support Melonie Rankin and her partner, Nikki Boatright with Melonie's hospice expenses, medical expenses, basic needs expenses, and unfortunately, eventual final expenses.
In 2022, Melonie was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and had a very painful, albeit life-saving surgery. Earlier this year, at the young age of 61, Melonie was again diagnosed with cancer, but this time it is lung and liver cancer. Melonie began chemotherapy treatments soon after being diagnosed, but has ultimately decided to stop treatments and stay as comfortable as possible for as long as possible.
Currently, Melonie is receiving some at-home hospice care. A hospice nurse visits once a week right now, but Nikki is Melonie's sole caretaker around the clock.
These extra funds will help Melonie and Nikki keep up with rent, groceries, utilities, and transportation as they navigate Melonie's journey. Melonie has opted to be cremated when the time comes, and these funds will also help Nikki pay for that service.
Please share this, and thank you in advance for any amount you can donate! If you can't donate, please share as often as you can!
