Support Mel's Fight Against POTS and homelessness.

Hi everyone,

My name is Mel, I’m 24 and live in the Minneapolis area. I am asking for help as I recently was diagnosed with a condition called POTS (postural hypotension tachycardia syndrome). This condition has been slowly debilitating my day to day life over the last two years as this was a result of a concussion. Due to this recent diagnosis and immense amount of flare ups, I have been having to miss work. My girlfriend, Tate, has been endlessly working trying to make ends meet for us while I try to figure out what my next steps are. Even with her working as much as she is able, we are struggling making ends meet. We are very close to being evicted and being homeless due to my condition. I am in the process of working with disability agents to try and get some supplemental income, but it’s a very long process. On top of receiving this diagnosis, I have been dealing with family health issues as well, which has put an extra burden on our finances.
