Support Mel's Journey to Health and Recovery

My name is Mel. I’m a young, 36-year-old that has been silently suffering from breast implant illness, which over the past year has only gotten worse. Although I’m still young, I feel like I’m on my last days due to the symptoms I’m living with day in and day out. As a lot of you may know if you personally know me, I have been constantly in and out of the hospital, which seems to be the story of my life these days. Not only have I been recently diagnosed with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, PTSD, and a few other things, I also deal with lots of fatigue, migraines, chest pains, breathing difficulties, and severe body aches and pain. My eyes are constantly burning, itching, and swelling. I wake up at night always dripping with sweat but with feet cold as ice. I go days just laying in bed, sleeping but still wake up tired and in pain. I spend many nights unable to go to sleep from the body pains, migraines, and eye irritation. A lot of days I can’t even get myself up to do basic daily activities like taking a shower or even brushing my teeth. It hurts to stand over a stove for too long or wash dishes in the sink. I went from doing 6-mile runs a day to not even being able to walk 6 minutes without being out of breath or in pain where I need to stop.

I have come here for help. I am tired of suffering. I want a normal life. My career has been put on hold and I just want to get back out in the real world. I’m a caregiver and I haven’t been able to do what I love, which is care for others. I can’t care for someone else if I can’t even care for myself. With that being said, unfortunately, my health insurance will not cover the surgery to have these toxic things removed. I’m here to ask, can you help me get a healthy life back? Anything helps and is greatly appreciated.
