Support Mercedes Beck & Family After Palisades Fire
Donation protected
Dear family, friends, and kind strangers,
Our sister, Mercedes Beck, and her young children; Angelica (16), Lily (13), and Jack (10), lost their home and all their belongings in the Palisades Fire on the evening of January 7, 2025.
Their lives dramatically changed on that fateful day. In fight-or-flight mode, Mercedes rushed to Palisades Elementary, to gather her son in order to evacuate. Thinking of nothing else but to be reunited with her children and to get them to safety, she left all their belongings behind, never imagining the fire would reach their condo in the Palisades Village.
We are so grateful to know that they are physically safe and coping with this tragedy, but they are still in need of assistance. All the places and spaces they frequented on a daily basis, their personal belongings, and the sanctuary they called home, are all just memories now. Their city and community have all quite literally been wiped off the map.
The shock and overwhelming loss has left Mercedes feeling incredibly fragile and frozen. The next days and weeks ahead will be difficult and challenging as she tries to establish a new normal for herself and her children.
Your kindness and generosity will help them secure temporary housing, replace essentials, and help them rebuild their lives.
Every single donation, no matter how small, will help our sister and her children regain their footing and give them the financial support they need to build a new future for their family.
Even if you are unable to donate, we would be so grateful if you would share this story with others.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your compassion and your contributions.
With immense gratitude,
Elizabeth, Alexandra, Ashley & Julie
