Support Meredith and Chris After Fire Loss

Help Rebuild Their Home

No one thought we’d be here, definitely not Meredith Carlson or Chris Sandoval. While our beloved friends and their fur babies are safe and healthy, the same cannot be said for the Alta Dena apartment which they have called home for years. Meredith and Chris found out today that their home, along with all of their possessions, are gone. Completely razed.

They have immediate shelter, but they need their community. We all know how expensive it can be to move between first/last/security/pet deposits, and even more so when you’re starting from scratch. Any financial help is greatly appreciated and can be provided here.

We also plan to add an update with preferred pet foods/supplies (we all know fur babies can be finicky with allergies, etc.) as well as clothing sizes/toiletries once they both have some time to process. We know they won’t be the only ones in need, and any leads on housing will be immensely appreciated. Offers for enrichment and check-ins will be especially appreciated in the near future, and when they are able, work.

They have been so supportive to all of us and Empowerment in Heels through the years. It's our time to show up for them.
